Additionally while you are in Tallinn you can visit their Botanical Gardens, which is host to flora from all around the globe, displayed in all their glory. The exhibits change on a monthly basis, and they have thematic tours, such as rose days and the summer night “aroma” tours. There is also a beautiful nature trail that you can hike.
There is also the Kadriorg Palace and Park, which was the summer residence of one of the Russian Tsar’s, Peter I. This is now home to Estonia’s Foreign Art Museum, which hosts thousands of paintings, sculptures, furniture and other artistic holdings from the surrounding countries. The park is made up of gardens, Swan Lake, forest groves and meadows.
And if you want to take advantage of the pristine overland views and wildlife of Estonia, the countryside is wide open and full of opportunities. This is one of the most pristine landscapes in all of Europe, and can provide you with an experience that you will never forget.
