Airlines that operate flights to Edinburgh include Ryanair, EasyJet, Flyglobespan, KLM Cityhopper, Jet2, Flybe, BMI Baby, Germanwings, Cimber Sterling, Norwegian, Aer Arann Onur, Thomson Airways, Lufthansa, Loganair, Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines, Air Europa, SAS and Canadian Affair. All these carriers also operate international and domestic flights from Edinburgh Airport.
Edinburgh Airport is the prime airport in Scotland. On its ground floor there are arrivals areas for both domestic and international passengers.
The airport has many transport links to the city centre, including buses, trains, taxis and hire cars. The two main railway stations in Edinburgh, Waverley and Haymarket, are located in the city centre. Buses providing links to and from the airport into Edinburgh include Airlink 100, Night Bus N22 and Service 35. Airlink 100 is an express bus service that operates from the airport to Waverley Bridge. The Night Bus N22 operates from the airport through South Gyle, going to the city centre and then on to Ocean Terminal in Leith, between early morning and late evening, seven days a week. Service 35, runs to Ocean Terminal, with stops at RBS World Headquarters, the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyrood House.
The Airport taxis in the city are separated into taxi ranks for private airport taxis and city based “black cabs”, outside the east end of the terminal building. The car rental companies with pick up and drop off facilities at the airport include Alamo, Europcar, Avis, National, Budget Car Rental and Thrifty Car Rental.
