Visa information for Holiday Makers

A lot of people don’t realise this, but many countries require that you have a Visa upon entry regardless of the purpose of your visit, even if your going on a Holiday.

European citizens can roam freely within other European countries as long as they are carrying they’re European passport. Below is a guide covering some of the most popular tourtist destinations:

  • Scotland: No visa required for EU citizens, Canadians, Americans or Australians
  • England: No visa required for EU citizens, Canadians, Americans or Australians
  • Jordan: EU Nationals require a Visa which costs JD10 on arrival
  • Ireland: No visa required for EU citizens, Canadians, Americans or Australians
  • Belgium: No visa required for EU citizens, Canadians, Americans or Australians
  • Egypt: Visas can be purchased in advanced from the Egyptian Consulate for 15GBP, alternatively a visa can be aquired on arrival for around 17USD but the airports usually take considerable time processing them.
  • Ukraine: No visa required for EU citizens, Canadians, Americans, Swiss or Japanese on visits of less than 90 days.
  • Russia: Visas are essential for all US, EU and common wealth citizens and must be purchased before travelling.
  • Israel: Free visa is issued on arrival.
